Client Video Production experiences...
A
magazine show feature on children with Autism was chosen for a national Gracie
Award. The story, shot by Solana Productions, focused on dads trying to solve
the mystery of their son's illness.
Banding together, they raised enough funding and enough consciousness to become the "founding fathers" of a unique facility -- the M.I.N.D. Institute at U.C. Davis Medical Center near Sacramento -- a Manhattan Project for autism research and treatment.

More about our video production services ...
Solana Productions NW was called to shoot a video for Microsoft and Novell systems partnering together to make their products work better together.
BMW of Germany was the first to sign on. Stan McMeekin was hired as the D.P. and flew to Germany for five days to shoot interviews and b-roll of all three organizations. Solana also took a day trip to Nurnburg, Germany to shoot in and around the Novell offices.
Stan decided to use a black drape for all the interviews as the first interview was done on the campus of Microsoft in Redmond, Washington before traveling to Germany for the rest of the interviews. "I wanted to keep the same look and minimize the distractions at the same time".
For more information please contact Stan McMeekin with Solana Productions Northwest at 888-723-4100.
Tired
of the same old b-roll? One inexpensive option for spicing
up that next segment or story is to use our camera jib.
Click the link below for a short clip of examples.
The jib mounts on a standard tripod and can be set up in minutes. Many network shows use it to provide extra production value without breaking the bank.
The best shots are under ten seconds in length and can generally be cut into any sequence of edited b-roll. They can follow the natural movement of your subject moving an object. Or the jib can allow the camera to make a fluid vertical or horizontal movement across objects. Please call us for further information.
